A horse and buggy ford the Gibbon River just below the boiling Beryl Spring. The rig is possibly that of F. Jay Haynes, Yellowstone's best-known photographer. Haynes traveled extensively throughout the park, always looking for new images to offer tourists at his park concession. Photographed in 1884 by F. Jay Haynes.
