Designated a national park on February 26, 1919, the Grand Canyon is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. This photograph is a view of the Grand Canyon from Point Imperial on the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Mount Hayden is in the foreground. The north rim of the canyon is more than 1,000 feet higher than the south rim.
