The Native American man featured in this studio portrait is thought to be Little Wound. He holds a pistol. Besides the quill work and fringe on his jacket, it is further decorated with stars, eagles, and American flags. Note the placement of horns (probably buffalo) and feathers on his headdress. Photographed ca. 1935.
