This photo shows the candy showcases and front employees of the Franklin Candy Company in Washington D.C. The popular candy store even published a cookbook, called "Franklin Sugar Candy Book" in the early 1900s. It included recipes for such confectionery as Taffy, Coffee Cream Caramels, Cream Walnuts, Peppermint Drops, French Nougat, and Velvet Molasses Candy.
