These four men were captured on film as they worked on the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington state. The men were riding on a large section of pipe, suspended by a cable, as a crane moved it into position. The Grand Coulee Dam was built to produce hydroelectric power and provide irrigation water between 1933 and 1942.
