This photo shows George Herman "Babe" Ruth and Ernest G. "Ernie" Shore sitting on a low wall in front of a dugout in Boston Red Sox uniforms. The photograph was taken between 1915 and 1917, before the event in which Babe Ruth was thrown out of a game for hitting an umpire. Shore replaced him...and threw a no-hitter!
