Weary from a long day's travel, this Mormon family rests in front of its Conestoga wagons. A wagon's cargo varied, but most included bedding, cooking utensils, food, weapons, clothing, and tools. Also packed might have been plant cuttings, musical instruments, books, and medical supplies.
