Star formation may seem miraculous but is really a product of the processes and phenomena of the atmospheres. New stars form inside molecular clouds, somewhat dense concentrations of interstellar gas and dust. The deep cold of these regions causes the atoms of gas to clump. The density increases and at a certain point, stars form.
