"The Artist's Garden at Giverny" was painted by Claude Monet (1840-1926) in 1900. Giverny was a Paris suburb where Monet had lived for nearly 20 years when he painted this colorful scene. Deep behind the fresh colors of his garden, you can see just a hint of his house.
