Fully titled "Les Barques Regates A Argenueuil," this lovely painting of sailboats was painted by Claude Monet, considered by many to be the founder of Impressionism. This famous painting depicts a regatta, a series of boat races, that took place in Argeneuil, France, a town to the northwest of Paris.
