These park guests were photographed in a "Tally-ho" stagecoach in front of Yellowstone's first large hotel. Six-horse carriages were used only from the railroad to and from Mammoth. The Mammoth Hotel was designed by L. F. Buffington and boasted electric lights, quite an achievement in an area so remote. Photographed in 1905 by F. Jay Haynes.
