Luna Park was one of three large amusement parks built on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York City. It opened in 1903. Note the well-dressed men, women, and children milling about in their finest dresses, suits, and hats. This magical place was destroyed by fire in 1944. Photographed ca. 1912.
