"When Eagles Dance" was painted by California artist John Balloue. John Balloue was born to a Cherokee father and English/Irish mother in 1948. He began painting in art school after he returned from the Vietnam War. Balloue's paintings are full of rich color and often follow a theme of traditional tribal customs or patriotism.
