This painting, called "Irises," is one of several paintings of irises by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890). The painting is one of 130 paintings he created at the Saint Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, in the last year before his death.
